everytime when school days ended in november, i'll start doing things that selalunyee i xdpt nak buat.. like, umm, reading magazines and playing games... and when i'm getting bored, i'll juz lie down and start to think (or rather, daydreaming..hahaa)
"what i've done for all these times and what will i do for next year? hmm.."
so, lets think back bout what i've done in 2008 and what i'm expecting from 2009...
year 2008 was started with the news of me failing to go to oversea.. and worst of all, my parents have lost interest on me going oversea.. for them, they just want me to grad and have a degree in my life... but things had changed a lil bit when i've been accepted into Monash Malaysia in Feb 2008, which opened up my mind and give me some hope.. i started to dream about going oversea again... 2 things that have made my red aura (*red aura is the spirit of determination) overwhelming for the 1st semester of my 1st year were my bro's teaser and a condusive study environment in the campus itself... 1st of all, i got offended by what my bro said to me.. he said something that is "mencabar kelakianku" and so, i was really2 pissed off and i wana prove to him that he's wrong.. 2nd, i'm really like the study environment that monash malaysia has created.. the scenery is very calming and i could study well with the support of my friends and not to forget, "the database" for online quizzes from my dearest Yumni Amin.. heeheee... "jgn marah ye, i'm not using you, its a process of helping each other, kan?" :P
then, come the 1st semester exam, i was aiming for all HDs and what i get is 3 D and a P... afterall, i still bersyukur bcoz my average was above the par..and after i got the results, my parents started to have some interest in me... they asked bout the possibility of i'm going to oversea but they still hesitate whether i could do well for the 2nd semester or not...
my 2nd semester was a bit shaky.. i'm no longer sit at the front as frequent as i did in my 1st semester.. and i even started to escape ENV1800 lectures (bcoz its boring and i'll only sleep even if i come to the lecture).. but i'm not easily let my guard down.. i double my effort and call for study groups. having some discussions can really make u become more understanding on a specific topic. as a results, i got 2HDs and 2 Cs for my 2nd semester exam.. i btul2 bersyukur this time and i wana thank my friends for doing such a great discussions and i also wana thank Yumni Amin for her support.. she lets me tought her some topic on chemistry and ENV1800... we made tough topic easier for the both of us.. :)
year 2008 ends with me passing the driving test.. finally i have my own motorbike and car license!! woohoooo!!!
in terms of global world.. year 2008 was closed with a world crisis and attacks on Gaza.. ppl greediness have finally affect the whole world.. the bankruptcy filed by the US fourth-largest invesment firm in 15th September 2008 has drag down the Wall Street's stocks drammatically, causing billions of lost, and forcing the US Federal Reserve and Treasury and other 10 major banks in US to combine and create a $70 billion of fund for bailout... since US is the main key player of the global economy, other countries which trades heavily with US like Singapore, South Korea, India, Europe and Australia will be seriously affected..
so, in this new year of 2009, i'll be expecting more surprises to come. with the newly-elected president of the USA, Barrack Hussein Obama, i'm hoping for a better environment in future.. Obama seems to reconcile the diplomatic relationship with "Asia Barat" countries by sending George Mitchell for his diplomatic missions.
as for Malaysia, the visit of Pak Lah to Bahrain, Qatar and UAE for 6 days since 18 Jan 2009 have bear some agreements.. i'm expecting that more Islamic banks will be opened in Msia, the practices of Islamic banking will be widen and the usage of "Dinar Emas" will be implemented in future...
